The vibe here is pretty cool lots of seating and lots of Florida flavor!! DEFINITELY my favorite coffee shop in the Jacksonville area! Good food too without presumptuous prices.. check it out. It gets busy tho.

Not bad, not great. My sandwich was just okay. My wife enjoyed her bowl. The baked goods weren't anything special.

Food was good, comfortable atmosphere, and friendly staff. Look forward to going back!

Popped in here for a quick iced latte and some avocado toast for lunch. The latte was perfect, and I loved the flavor of the coffee. The avocado toast was fantastic! It was topped off with feta cheese, which was absolutely divine!

This weekend, I had another great visit to Southern Grounds. They have several locations, but my favorite is the San Marco location. When the weather is beautiful, sitting on their back patio is the best. I enjoyed my favorite breakfast item, the Grit Bowl, which is always delicious and perfectly seasoned. They've also introduced a new Tuscan Turkey Sandwich that has now become one of my favorites. This sandwich features turkey, bacon, sun-dried tomato pesto, and kale, all lightly tossed in Caesar dressing. All those ingredients make for a delicious sandwich. Do yourself a favor. Stop into Southern Grounds and enjoy some good food!

Came in during the evening to finish up some work and the experience was good. I only ordered an iced latte, but they do have food items and pastries. Check this place out if you're looking for a coffee shop to study/work from! Internet worked well during my time here. Seems like a good spot to meet friends for brunch or an evening hang out.

Perfect cafe located right outside of the rush of San Marco. I really enjoyed visiting this location today. There was ample seating and easily found parking right next to the cafe. Really quick service as well. Came in to enjoy coffee and get some work done. The cafe has a cute setup allowing for a lot of natural lighting to come in. Love this location and I will be back!

I had the pleasure of enjoying lunch with friends Sunday afternoon. It was my first time visiting Southern Grounds and the food did not disappoint! I got in line, ordered my food and grabed my number to take to the table. They had a self-service water station. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with sauteed onions, mushrooms and bacon. Oh my, I don't think I've ever tasted a chicken sandwich so good! The seasoning was perfect, and the sauteed onions and mushrooms complimented the sandwich so well! For my side I chose the Mediterranean salad and I'm so glad I did. There was lots of indoor seating plus a large patio. The downside was parking. But that is the issue for every business in San Marco. There were a few parking spots right beside the building which were all taken. I ended up parking on the street about four blocks away. They did have another small gravel lot just across the railroad tracks. I learned there's another location in Neptune Beach closer to me. I will be checking out this location soon!

The coffee was great and so was the service! I enjoyed seeing that they had a huge seasonal menu, but it also made it harder for me to not order one of everything. They are always very consistent with their coffee and it's always great! Also, a great place to study!
